Understanding and overcoming non-technological barriers in energy efficient renovation at district level

Based on workshop and semi-guided interviews, the CITyFiED partners and stakeholders from the 11 cities (Botkyrka, Firenze, Izmir, Ludwigshafen, Málaga, Napoli, Rovereto, Salerno, Udine, Valladolid and Värmdö) of the CITyFiED City Cluster have listed their non-technological barriers and discussed possible solutions to overcome them. The aim beyond simple awareness raising was to help professional stakeholders in the field of building and district energy renovation to think ahead, anticipating possible risks to overcome barriers before they turn into real problems.
